He then entered private equity as a Director of a $22 million venture capital fund that invested $1m-$3m in growth-oriented entrepreneurial ventures. Noel is now Pro Vice-Chancellor (Entrepreneurship), Professor of Entrepreneurship & Commercialisation, Academic Director Singapore Operations, and Director of the Entrepreneurship, Commercialisation and Innovation Centre (ECIC) at the University of Adelaide. He leads a team that teaches and undertakes research in the areas of entrepreneurship, innovation, technology commercialisation, and project management.
